Mini Babybel Cheese Commercial
This commercial became memorable because of my last line, “Up top, sir!” which was improvised with an extra on set. I will always be grateful the creative team and client allowed me to improvise the ending. We had so much fun doing it. Also, this was the very first audition I went on in LA. Expectations should never be set so high for a town like LA. Please excuse the pants. Actually there is no excuse for the pants.
Mini Babybel Light Commercial
I was so lucky to be granted a 5 year contract with the fantastic people at Mini Babybel. Once again, the creative team and client were gracious enough to let me improvise in each spot. Hence, “Size Awesome.”
Midol National Spot
This was one of the most unique commercial experiences I’ve ever had. Several female comics, including Tiffany Haddish, performed for a live audience, but the requirement was that all our jokes had to do with periods. Good luck trying that. Of course the jokes had to be clean for TV, but we were allowed to push the envelope. My favorite is way outdated now, but it was timely then: “Obama is like Midol, he cleans up the mess that Bushes make.” Political period comedy, who knew.
Arby’s Birthday
Leave it to Arby’s to do a roleplay commercial. This even made my Dad blush. Do I still have the Arby’s nametag? You bet I do.
