Copywriting
I write copy for radio, TV, humor websites, and have vast experience in social media. I’ve done extensive work promoting both brands and TV & film though apps such as Tiktok, Threads, Twitter, Snapchat, Tumblr, Facebook, Instagram and Vine (RIP). I’ve also been hired by various brands personally to promote their product. I’ve worked with small boutique agencies such as Jetset, and large advertising agencies such as Arnold Worldwide. I’ve even worked directly with a major movie studio, 20th Century Fox. Can I work for you next? Let’s say yes.
Client: Arnold Worldwide for Progressive / Motaur
Challenge: Write a series of radio spots that captured the bizarre humor and mystical nature of the Progressive character Motaur, half-man, half-motorcycle.
Solution: Worked with an incredible team at the agency, each of us adding a layer to the spots until we created the final series.
Client: Arnold Worldwide for Snapchat for Progressive
Challenge: Create an amusing series of radio spots that promoted Snapchat from Progressive, which rewards you for driving safely
Solution: I concepted the idea and wrote multiple spots for an original series called “Road Therapy,” which was successfully produced and received much positive feedback from both the agency and the client.
Client: 20th Century Fox for ‘The Other Woman’
Challenge: Design a social media campaign that engaged with Millennials on Vine but still felt like honest posts from each influencer
Solution: After studying each influencer’s feed and style, I wrote scripts that would talk about The Other Woman, but still feel like the influencer wrote it. It was important to not make them feel like #ads. I allowed them to improvise as well to make it their own.
Impact: Tens of thousands of views and revines promoting the movie with our hashtag, as well as genuine engagement and positive comments from their thousands of followers.
Client: VaynerMedia for Woodbridge by Robert Mondavi
Challenge: Create a series that genuinely encouraged Woodbridge drinkers to realize that there is no wrong way to drink wine - no matter what the wine snobs say.
Solution: With a creative team led by CD Mark Krajan and co-copywriter Mackenzie Horras, we developed a series of spots at “Your Way Cafe,” shot mockumentary style, with a very special sommelier - here to tell you to drink wine your way.
Client: VaynerMedia for Toyota Parts & Service
Challenge: Create a hero campaign that engaged the viewer in the first 5 seconds and educated viewers on why they should only take their Toyota to a Toyota Service Center.
Solution: ACD Justin Thomas and I concepted and created this “Kinetic Camerawork” series with an immediately visually arresting approach that gave Toyota Parts & Services a sleek new look and made the Toyota Technicians the real heroes of the day.
Client: Zipcar
Challenge: When my dog @senordirtyharry was diagnosed with cancer and only given a few months to live, I knew I wanted to make them special. However I didn’t have a car to drive him to his favorite places, as I’d traded it in for the biking lifestyle.
Solution: Partnered with Zipcar to create a heartwarming series “Harry’s Bucket List with Zipcar” which featured not only my pup living it up his last few months, but also the ease with which you can use Zipcar!

Client: Luxious Creative for Christina Aguilera VOLTAIRE Vegas Residency
Challenge: Create 2 animated pieces to accompany Xtina’s Parisian dreamscape, focusing on the duality of the Beauty of the Night and the Devil of the Night.
Solution: Developed a storyline for an incredible animation team made of of Nick Pini and Juan Pablo Ocampo, under CD Bryan Barancik’s direction, and wrote the VO for a hero woman’s journey through Paris, encountering beauty with pops of color, and delving into her dark side when the sun sets.
Impact: Not technically a KPI, but I did hear a guy scream out “THIS IS AWESOME” when the animations came on during the live performance I saw. Mission accomplished.
Client: Jetset Studios for The Heat
Challenge: Create a series of assets and copy that engaged the public on social media and brought attention to The Heat while specifically telling the audience exactly the kind of irreverent humor they can expect from the movie
Solution: Created a series of posts for social media that used the definition of one word to demonstrate the dueling personalities of the movie’s star characters, played by Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy
Client: someecards
Challenge: Create short humorous copy for cards that are relevant to current events or holidays
Solution: Studied current events meticulously as well as even the most inane holidays to craft comedic cards that people related to, pushing it past the line of inappropriate at times to many readers’ delight.
Impact: Multiple cards went viral, had thousands of likes on the website, or ended up on various “Best Of” lists for the week on websites such as BuzzFeed
